Apartment : "The apartment was small but cozy, which really gave it a home away from home vibe. It's conveniently located within a 5 minute walk from the Lamarck-Marcadet (line 12) metro station, which will get you everywhere you want to go. There are numerous ATMs in the area, including a BNP Paribas located right above the metro station (no fee if you're a fellow American with a Bank of America card). The area was very safe and there were numerous bakeries and shops. In fact, we ended up getting breakfast almost daily from the bakery across the street from the apartment, which was delicious and very reasonably priced. There's satellite TV, wireless internet, and even a phone with free calls abroad in the apartment."
Welcome from the landlord : "R. was extremely gracious and very responsive. There was the threat of a hurricane-related flight delay, and he offered to not charge us if we arrived late. We came for our honeymoon, and he even gave us a bottle of wine and bottle of champagne. It were the little touches that made it all the more memorable."
