This flat is absolutely quiet even though it's on the busiest street in the area.
The apartment was painted and carpeted and all bath fixtures replaced this summer. This is a great apartment for a young couple or up to two students to share for the academic year.
The apartment boasts a 19th century mirror which is the centerpiece of the living room and exposed wooden beams. All kitchen ustensils and linens are furnished. There is a double bed in the bedroom and a pull out double bed in the living room as well as a chaise lounge. The bathroom and kitchen are small but functional. The best thing about living in this location is that you won't have to worry about being stranded since the night buses from other parts of Paris all stop nearby and you can walk to most places you'd want to go to at night--the Marais, Bastille, St. Germain des Pres are all within 30 minutes stroll.
