If you want to get the experience of "living" in Paris...this is a great apartment! Rue des Lombards is perfectly situated in the heart of Paris. Location, location, location...It is within a 3 minute walk of a metro stop that will literally get you anywhere in the City within 15 minutes. There is a grocery store across the street (2 others within 3 minutes), great restaurants on the street and it is a nice 5 minute walk to the shopping/restaurants in Le Marais. Convenience...this location saved us a ton of transit time and allowed us to experience more areas of Paris! The apartment itself is well appointed and not typical of Parisian apartments (lots of space!). This was my 6th trip to Paris and we absolutely loved this apartment! 2 BR and 2 bathrooms...well appointed kitchen, great ambiance, wonderful art, wifi, surround sound music, etc. Plus...a tiny glimpse of Le Tour Eiffel. We will definitely rent this unit again. We spent several weeks in this unit and it felt like home. We were treated with open arms when we arrived and appreciate the hospitality. Thank you and hope we cross paths again soon.

It's a great apartment. Cozy and commodious, with a marvelous location about five minutes walk from Notre Dame. We and our guests enjoyed it very much. And the hosts were very pleasant and accommodating. All in all the best lodgings we have had in many trips to Paris over the years. If it's available, this is where we will always want to stay. The apartment is in a great spot in the Marais close to the Pompidour centre food shops and restaurants. The apartment is large by Parisian standards and the son of the owner was very helpful. We did have one issue with the lock on the apartment door and he sorted it for us. (I suggested to the owner he change that). The apartment is very comfortable and there is a supermarket directly opposite it. There are four flights of stairs so it is suitable if you are fit. There is a small elevator though, the owners son helped us with our suitcases. We enjoyed our stay here.

We loved staying here. The landlord and his son were very helpful and wanted to make sure all our needs are met. We stayed in July 2015 when the temperatures were in the 90s a few days in Paris and the apartment was cool enough - even without air conditioning. The location is superb. You can walk to the Louvre and Notre Dame. We had quite a few nice walks up and down the Seine. There are 2 close metro stops and we had no issues with getting where we wanted to go from these metro stops. There is a full size refrigerator which came in handy for us. I would recommend listening a bit closer than we did when we got the "how to" speech about how to operate the washer and dryer. The elevator does not go all the way up to the apartment. You will have to walk up a flight of stairs after you get off of the elevator. The elevator is small and if you have more than 3 people in your party, you will have to take turns using the elevator. Or you can do what we did - hike up the stairs. There are 2 grocery stores and 2 bakeries close by. I would stay here again!

great location, like stepping into a postcard of Paris -- in the heart of everything, yet quiet from our floor. charming views from windows. spacious and perfect for 2 adults and grown children.
