Things turned out OK but there was a little uncertainty throughout the process that could be improved. -It took several days to get responses, confirmations, etc.- Some things like payment arrangements, deposit handling, could be done better: perhaps through web automation. It might be a cultural thing so these comments are just in the spirit of constructive criticism and not an expression of lack of satisfaction.

The Lodgis web site provides a great quantity of detail about each apartment: descriptions, photos, reviews, room layouts, maps of the area, etc., so that you can make an informed decision without physically visiting the apartment. Also, the Lodgis representative that we communicated with by email was very helpful and was fluent in English. The whole process of finding an apartment, applying for it, and leasing it was straightforward.

Almeida Tavares et, en dépit de que je parle français, elle s'est offert pour parler en portugais avec moi une fois que je suis brésilienne. Sûrement dans le prochain colloque ou séjour de recherche j'envie de rester ici.
