Located in a large beautiful limestone building (landmark Haussmann 19th century), with two entrance doors, including onto Boulevard Barbes; protected by two digital codes and a live-in concierge. Building residents are exceptionally friendly (everyone greets one another).
The flat is sunny, spacious (almost 1, 000 square feet), with a clear view and high ceilings. The sun comes in twice a day, thanks to a large bow-window and high, wide double windows. The main bedroom is facing a very quiet interior courtyard.
On the fourth floor, with elevator, the flat is comfortable and the rooms well spread out, with lots of very well preserved architectural details (e. g. , hardwood floors, ceiling moldings, wood paneling; two (non-functioning) marble fireplaces with mirrors; antique ceramic stove; large bow-window; high windows in all rooms, with double panes, shutters, double curtains and wrought iron railings; two French doors with beveled glass open onto the central hallway. The rooms: a living room/dining room; two bedrooms; a large central hallway; a full bathroom; a well equipped kitchen; and a separate toilet. The decoration blends modern, ethnic and antique styles.
