    一階に広いロビー(待合わせ場所として使える)があって、いつもコンシェルジェが受付に居てくれるのでセキュリティ万全。エレベーターが大と小２基あり、大きいほうはスーツケースが4個と人間3人が乗っても大丈夫でした。建物自体はシャングリラホテルとイラン大使館の並びの通り(イエナ通り)にあるのですが、部屋は大通りから少し入った静かな通りに面しているので意外に静かでした。63番のバスをよく使うので便利、イエナのマルシェ(水曜と土曜開催)には歩いて行けて嬉しかったです。部屋で本格的に料理する事が目的の方には少し不便かもしれませんが、ワイングラスは買って置いて来ましたので暫くは大丈夫(笑)だと思います。湯沸しポットを買って置いてきた事もあるのですが、自分で足りないと思う物は現地で調達すればいいかな、と思っています。洗濯機とアイロンとアイロン台は完璧！。家主さんも親切な方でした。そんなこんなで、いつも通り「来た時よりも美しく」と呟きながらお掃除して部屋を後にしたのでした。「来た時よりも美しく」はアパルトマンをお借りする時の自分のモットーにしているのですが、何故かこういう時だけ「日本人の印象を悪くしてはいけない」、などと国旗の日の丸が頭上に立ってしまうのです(爆！)。
