Just cross the street and you are at the foot of the Eiffel Tower and the Champ-de-mars park! Within the park you can enjoy a very pleasant walk, a nap on the lawn or, if you are a runner, you can go around the park for its entire 2500 m! Right next door you will find a bakery whith hot bread and croissants, a grocer's shop, cheese and wine shops, international news papers, a laundromat and a good range of restaurants. You also have a wide choice of means of transport. In less than 5 minutes, you reach 3 subway lines, 4 bus lines, taxi stops, spots where you can borrow bicycles or cars (located around the city) and a spot where you can take a boat ride on the Seine river. It is centrally located and you can easily and directly go to the Champs Elysées, Montmartre, Notre-Dame, the different airports and the Château de Versailles. And if you feel like walking, it will take you 5 minutes to go to the Seine's docks, 10 minutes to the Museum of Quai Branly and 15 minutes to the Invalides.
