Very good

The apartment look better than how it look like in the pictures. Room is quite big compare with the price. Security system is ok. This apartment is next to school during day time you may heard a ringing sound from the school and also noisy because of students and parents talking. This room also face to the road, so you will hear the car sound and people talking during day and night. By the way all of the noise problem is not the annoying in my opinion. This apartment is only 5 minutes walk to RER C and also Metro line 5 and 10. This apartment is on the opposite site to Jardin des Plantes that is very huge and beautiful park.


15 Rue Buffon is in a great location. 5 minute walk to the metro and bus and food stores, 10 minute walk to the Seine, 25 minute walk to Notre dame and the latin quarter and a 15 minute walk to one of our favorite pedestrian streets, Rue Mouffetard with lots of great restaurants and shops. My wife and I (both retired in our 60's) spent 3 months in the apt., May-July 2015 and loved every minute, especially the big balcony overlooking the park--Jardine des Plantes, and spent every morning and night out there watching the Parisian world go by or just sipping wine. The apt. was renovated a year ago and all the appliances were new. It's on the 3rd (American) floor. The pull out couch slept 2 and the bedroom was comfortable. The building was built in the 70's. The exterior could use a little updating, but the lobby and elevators were well maintained. The neighborhood was very safe and the building itself was security code access. No a/c, but not really needed. The rent seemed reasonable. Overall we were very pleased and would recommend this apt for a short or long stay. We would easily stay there again.
