In the north of the 14th arrondissement of Paris, the Montparnasse district owes much of its fame to the famous artists who frequented it at the beginning of the 20th century. Today, dominated by its tall tower, bordered by the Luxembourg Garden to the north, Rue Froidevaux to the south, Rue de la Santé to the east, and the Montparnasse train station to the west, the district, largely occupied by the cemetery that bears its name and where many celebrities rest, has remained a favorite meeting place for artists and art enthusiasts.
