Shopping, convenient life, big spaces... The fourteenth is really appreciated

The 14th arrondissement of Paris is pleasant place to live and is very well served by public transports. Whether one is a resident of the Parc Montsouris district, the Porte d'Orleans, the Porte de Vanves, or over towards Montparnasse with its wide avenues, a fourteenth-arrondissement lifestyle has much to offer. The northern sector, bounded by the Boulevard Montparnasse and the Rue Froidevaux, consists of middle-class neighbourhoods with convenient local shops and boutiques which are also open on Sundays. As well as many beautiful houses, community gardens and flower-filled squares are dotted across these residential areas with their many amenities.

Paris 14 contains 40 nursery- and elementary schools whilst Collèges and Lycées are also well represented (the Collège Saint-Exupery, the Collège Daudet college near the Alesia neighborhood and métro station, and the Lycée Raspailon on the Avenue Maurice d'Ocagne). Among the hospitals in the fourteenth are the Centre Hospitalier Sainte-Anne on the Rue Cabanis and the Hôpital Cochin on the Rue Faubourg-Saint-Jacques. A few markets spread around the 14th including the organic market held in the Place Brancusi, the Mouton-Duvernet market in the Place Jacques Demy, and the Marché Parisien de la Création (artist's market) on the Boulevard Edgar Quinet. All the shops and supermarkets are within easy reach and open on Sundays (on the Rue Raymond Losserand, and the Rue Daguerre), as are brasseries (La Coupole on the Boulevard Montparnasse) and the centre of Montparnasse, which is where all the major fashion brands are located.

If you rent an apartment in Paris 14 for a family stay in Paris, you'll benefit from many amenities. Indeed, living in the 14th district of Paris means you can go for shopping on Sunday, you can enjoy several green spaces... and you have everything near your accommodation (schools, hospitals, bars or shops).
